Leica EG1150

The Leica EG1150 modular tissue embedding center incorporates two separate components, the Leica EG1150 C cold plate and the Leica EG1150 H heated paraffin dispensing module. The independent modules offer the flexibility to arrange embedding workflow in either direction (left to right or right to left) to suit the user's needs.

For orienting specimens from biopsies and other, especially very small specimens, an adjustable magnifier is available as an option.

Detailed Description

Comprising the Leica EG1150 C cold plate and the Leica EG1150 H heated paraffin dispensing module, the Leica EG1150 is the ideal modular tissue embedding center for the discerning customer. The mold and cassette warming trays are located at the same level and interchangeable to acccommodate individual workflow requirements. The position-adjustable halogen spot ensures bright, even illumination of the entire work area.

The Leica EG1150 is tailor-made to meet all the embedding requirements of the modern histology laboratory.
