Overview
For the different sectioning requirements in histology, research, biology and specific industrial applications, Leica Microsystems offers top quality microtome knives between 3 and 30 cm in length. For safety reasons, the knives are shipped in a knife case.
For resharpening purposes, the knives should be returned to Leica Biosystems Nussloch GmbH, Heidelberger Strasse 17-19, D-69226 Nussloch/Germany.

The Leica microtome knives, varying from 3 to 30 cm in length, meet the different sectioning requirements found in histology, research, biology and specific industrial applications. Made of tool steel or tungsten carbide, they are durable, remaining sharp for a large number of sections, and as they can be resharpened they contribute to saving costs in the laboratory. For extra safety the knives are always supplied in a custom-made knife case.
